Who was hunter frank?

Hunter Alexander Frank: 04/20/2000 - 10/17/2020

Hunter was born April 20, 2000 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Chad and Annette (Drown) Frank. He grew up in Meriden. Hunter graduated from Owatonna High School with the Class of 2018. On June 21, 2018, he enlisted in the United States Navy. He completed basic training in Great Lakes, IL with Division 18-321. Hunter reported to VP-26 on December 2nd, 2019 in Jacksonville, FL. Since March of 2020, Hunter has been serving in El Salvador flying with Team Trident as their Electronic Warfare Operator. He logged 412 hours in the P-8A Poseidon supporting counter narcotics operations in the Pacific. Hunter died at the age of 20 on Friday, October 17, 2020, in El Salvador while serving his country in the United States Navy. Decorations and honors received include the National Defense Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Medal and Marksman 9mm Pistol Ribbon.

Hunter was a quiet soul with a good heart. He was strong willed and determined. When he made up his mind, he stuck to it. Hunter was considered shy by many, but for those that knew him best, Hunter was a talker and loved to tell stories like his father. Hunter was a compassionate person, especially to his sister Indya, whom he was extremely protective. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, demolition derbies, playing video games, and watching Anime.

He is survived by mother, Annette (Bryan) Duncan of Medford; father, Chad (Samantha) Frank of Waseca; siblings, Brandon Flores of Owatonna, Indya Frank of Medford, Michael Frank of Owatonna, Tristen Frank of Zumbrota, Amelia Duncan of Medford, Jazmyne Duncan of Medford and Sebastian Duncan of Medford; grandparents, Bruce and Jackie Frank of New Richland, Brian and Kathy Ewest of Waseca and Doris Yrjanson of Waseca; niece, Penelope and Artemis Flores & aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents.
